16 weeks, 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Last 4 weeks are internships at a partner business in the industry
Eligibility:
Mandatory tour Wednesdays at 1:00 PM to determine eligibility and apply
Must have flexible work schedule: able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
Meet minimum reading, writing, and arithmetic as well as basic kitchen fundamentals in intake test
Authorized to work in the United States
Specific eligibility requirements may apply depending on the funding or referral source
Special features:
Program includes instruction by guest chefs and industry professionals, tours of restaurants, and food operation centers
Program includes preparation for earning ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
